Vistosi won 100 Eccellenze Italiane Award 2018

Celebrating and telling the stories of the excellent companies that, through their work, contribute to give the “Made in Italy” brand a value of inestimable relevance in the world: that is the purpose of the 100 Eccellenze Italiane award, now in its fourth edition.

The award ceremony, which is accompanied by the presentation of a book containing the stories of the people and companies that have deserved this award, was held on November 29 at the Sala della Lupa in Palazzo Montecitorio, Rome.

Among the companies selected by the scientific committee as pre-eminent in the manufacturing sector there is Vetreria Vistosi. Through its long history it has shown how it is possible on the one hand to carry on the tradition of the ancient glassmaking art, and on the other to remain competitive on international markets through an efficient and highly technological industrial process.

Vetreria Vistosi has managed to establish itself in the world of furniture and interior decoration not only thanks to its ability to interpret the taste and needs characterizing architecture and design between the XX and XXI centuries, but also because it was able to spread throughout the world the value underlying the “Made in Italy” with its products.

The award aims to enhance the work of public figures and business realities from industry to manufacturing, from infrastructure to fashion, wine and food. The volume collecting all that is a long story of men, companies and brands that Italy is proud to decant.

The promoter of the award, which was organized under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, is the publisher Riccardo Dell'Anna, who has always been attentive to the dissemination and enhancement of Italian genius and creativity.

100 Eccellenze Italiane is a new award for Vetreria Vistosi and, consequently, a matter for pride for the General Manager Matteo Moretti. His management shows how to innovate and innovate oneself without sacrificing the intrinsic qualities of a brand, which were built up over centuries of artisan history.
