Sparkling and ethereal as a diamond: Vistosi presents Spirit
The brightness of a diamond enshrined in the ephemeral shake of a crystal cocoon: meet Spirit, a sort of homage to Pascal's Esprit de géométrie and Esprit de finesse. The last suspension lamp released by Vistosi, which was presented in Moscow in a world preview at the Saloni WorldWide, from October 16 to 19, combines the geometric lines typical of a contemporary international taste –and for which it was designed- and the elegance of a "design made in Italy", according to the project of its designer, the architect Marco Acerbis.
As other emblematic Vistosi designs, Spirit enhances the warmth and the transparency of the glass, also thanks to the innovative crystal blend used for its production.
The glassmakers' ability
In order to be created, Spirit needs the finest ability of the blown glass manufacturers who, in a few and precise movements, must transform a glass pipe into a drop, inserted in a structure made of descending and sinuous spirals which highlight the modernity of the design through the light and its many facets.
The contemporary design and the hands of the venetian masters give birth, once again, to an extremely versatile object which is perfect for contemporary spaces but which, at the same time, has the ability to give an informal touch to a classic interior design.
