Vistosi at the charity event “Un Fiore all'Occhiello” 2015
On October 31, in the refined atmosphere of Café Pedrocchi in Padua was held the eighth edition of "Un Fiore all'Occhiello", the annual charity event that awards a Venetian or someway connected to Veneto personality, who particularly distinguished themselves in their field: this year it featured the great soccer champion Paolo Rossi. Vistosi was present at this event with its creations, two vases from the Modì collection, donated to the charity lottery made with prizes from fashion and design brands.
The essential elegance of Modì for an evening of charity and glamour
Organized by Paola Toffano with he Pa.to.s association, the gala dinner "Un Fiore all'Occhiello" 2015 had as its guest of honour the great "Pablito" from the “’82 Mundial”: he is widely considered a Venetian by adoption, since in this region he began playing soccer with Vicenza Calcio in the 70s and later chose to end his career playing his last season with Hellas Verona.
Among the slender Ionic columns of the Red Hall in the historic Paduan café took place moments of entertainment and live music, culminating in the charity raffle: on Paolo Rossi’s suggestion its proceeds were donated to Team for Children, a non-profit organization working closely with the Department of Paediatric Oncology of the Hospital of Padua. "I think all of us, especially those who have had so much in life, should give something back to others", said the former footballer.
Vistosi contributed to this important purpose with two creations from the Modì collection: made in blown milk glass and available in two versions, vase and bowl, in different colours (ruby, green or crystal), Modì is shaped in free-form without moulds and decorated with black wires applied to the melted glass during the production. Once again the amazing craftsmanship of Murano glass joins the clean, elegant and essential design by Vistosi.
