Vistosi and ONO Luce players of VelvetLagoonVelvet
The lamp Forata by ONO Luce, brand exclusively distributed by Vetreria Vistosi, will be main actor in the personal exhibition VelvetLagoonVelvet by Anna Paola Cibin.??Planned from July 22 to September 18, 2011, to coincide with the Biennale of Venice and the Venice Film Festival, the event is promoted by the Arts & Arts association in collaboration with the Province of Venice and it will be held in the fascinating places of the island of San Servolo.??VelvetLagoonVelvet is based on an idea of the Venetian artist Anna Paola Cibin to retrieve a very popular subject in art history, but now forgotten by contemporary art: the fish.??The exhibition travel VelvetLagoonVelvet winds through a succession of fishes in lagoon, extinct and existing, real and imagined, lonely and in shoal, under which the artist imagines to dive, along a stretch of lagoon.??The path between the colorful velvet, printed with manual techniques that recreate the depth of the sea is dotted with organisms from silver and iridescent reflexes and from glassy elements, thanks to the model Forata by ONO Luce, a lamp characterized by blown and hand-drilled borosilicate glass.??Forata, created by the wise insights of the Venetian designer Barbara Maggiolo, is characterized by a very complex process of crystal glass, entirely handmade, which makes each piece unique and always different.??Great emotion to the presentation has been demonstrated by the President of Vistosi Matteo Moretti that has said: "The art and Venice are an union that has always characterized the way of being of Vistosi and his works. It has been easy for us to decide to give our contribution to this show, so cleverly conceived and organized by Anna Paola Cibin, that manages to spread great suggestions and I'm sure it will be a great success.
